Disoccupazione e sottoccupazione sono tra i maggiori problemi di sviluppo nei Paesi partner della DSC. La povertà a livello globale potrà essere ridotta in maniera duratura e gli Obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile dell’ONU potranno essere realizzati soltanto se un numero maggiore di persone avrà accesso a un’occupazione produttiva e adeguatamente remunerata, ovvero al reddito.

Technical Assistance Facility for Sustainable Business Development in Agriculture

This publicly supported fund provides technical support (training, marketing, organization dev., business plans) to medium sized enterprises active in agriculture and food processing in several developing countries alongside with capital investments from private impact investors. Impact investors seek to generate a social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. The fund is a public private partnership that will trigger an estimated $30m in private capital and improve the output market for approx. 200k family farms. 


Public Investment in Energy Efficiency Phase 2 (PIE2)

PIE2 aims to increase effectiveness of Public Investment Management (PIM) and of Public Finance Management (PFM) replicating and upscaling the achievements of PIE1 in the two poorest districts of Ulaanbaatar city. Improved PIM and PFM capacities, practices, procedures and regulations will be applied to the thermoretrofitting of public buildings, i.e. 20 schools and kindergartens, aiming for demonstration effect for replication. The need to improve education facilities corresponds to a top priority for UB citizens.

Alla luce dell’elevato tasso di disoccupazione e del rallentamento della crescita in Moldova, il progetto della DSC si rivolge ai giovani alla ricerca di un lavoro proponendosi di offrire loro alternative all’emigrazione e di migliorare le condizioni economiche del Paese. A questo scopo, la Svizzera sostiene riforme tese a formare manodopera qualificata e a creare un ambiente favorevole agli investimenti. L’obiettivo ultimo non è soltanto quello di incentivare una formazione che tenga conto delle esigenze del mercato, ma anche aiutare le imprese private a creare nuovi posti di lavoro.

Inclusion financière dans l'Union Economique et Monétaire Ouest Africaine (UEMOA)

En Afrique de l’Ouest, le faible accès aux services financiers ne permet pas de moderniser les exploitations familiales et de développer des activités productives. La DDC soutient la stratégie régionale d’inclusion financière de l’Union économique et monétaire ouest-africaine et la Swiss Capacity Building Facility pour accroitre l’accès à de nombreux jeunes et femmes aux services financiers et leur offrir des opportunités économiques permettant ainsi de s’attaquer aux causes de la migration et de l’insécurité.


Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF)

ARTF is a coordinated on-budget financing mechanism for the state, administered by the World Bank. Its priority national investment projects focus on agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, education, health and governance. Since the initiation of the Trust Fund in 2002, Millions of Afghan women, men and children have gained access to services and improved their income. It also significantly contributed to the Afghan state’s capacity.

Le manque de qualifications nécessaires à une insertion socio-économique demeure un défi en Afrique de l’Ouest. Afin de favoriser l’employabilité des jeunes, le PROFOR soutient les dynamiques régionales de mutualisation des ressources et pratiques de formation professionnelle afin d’accélérer le développement de systèmes de formation efficaces et répondant aux besoins économiques des pays et de contribuer au développement économique et à la cohésion sociale de la sous-région.

By deploying a mix of aid modalities SDC will address the needs of 2,615,064 people severely affected by Hurricane Irma in the 22 most affected municipalities. The Humanitarian Aid will support the immediate response with delivery of food assistance through the WFP. The South Cooperation will support early recovery by strengthening production of local construction material and capacities through the PNUD.


Making Labour Market Work for Young People in Albania

The Albanian economy has difficulties to absorb young people entering the job market. By addressing all dimensions of employment, namely labor demand, job intermediation and labor supply, RisiAlbania project will apply a comprehensive approach to reduce the high youth unemployment (28.9% in 2016). The project will facilitate private sector growth in targeted sectors, leading to creation of 2200 new jobs, by the end of 2021. lt will contribute to 3000 young people placed in jobs and 7500 youth improved their market-oriented skills.


Strengthening responsible inclusive finance practices and building capacity in Central America & Caribbean by leveraging SPTF’s global work

Strengthening cities for migration and development

Cities are the main destination for migrants worldwide. They play a crucial role in ensuring migrants’ social and economic inclusion and in leveraging migration as a source of innovation and prosperity. Switzerland aims at strengthening the evidence base on how to manage urban migration to maximize its development effects and at leveraging the voice and experience of cities in shaping effective migration policies. The project will involve Swiss cities and benefit from Swiss research expertise.

Le partenariat avec 2IE y a contribué durant les années écoulées et les résultats atteints feront l’objet d’une capitalisation au cours de cette phase de désengagement qui est la dernière phase de ce partenariat.
