Statements and reports by Switzerland

Switzerland is an active contributor to the weekly sessions of the Permanent Council and its three committees for political-military security, economy and environment and human security.

The Swiss delegation to the OSCE takes a position on every important issue. Moreover, Switzerland regularly exchanges views within the informal group of “like-minded” states: Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein and Norway with which it issues joint statements.

During Switzerland’s 2014 Chairmanship of the OSCE, the following website provided information on the activities of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the then-president of the Swiss Confederation, foreign minister Didier Burkhalter.
