Swiss Peace Supporter 3/2024
In this issue, we look at opportunities for women in peacebuilding. A Swiss legal professional deployed to the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor's Office is profiled. The issue also features two contributions on OSCE activities: water diplomacy as an inclusive conflict resolution strategy in Central Asia, and equal opportunities policy and gender issues.

Edition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Swiss Armed Forces International Command (SWISSINT) in Stans. To mark the 500th SWISSCOY convoy, this edition focuses on the logistical challenges involved in military peace support. It includes an FDFA special looking behind the scenes at Nigeria's presidential elections and reports from two specialists in their field – one on the work of the UN in Burkina Faso and another on her role at Frontex's Fundamental Rights Office in Warsaw.

This edition focuses on the Demilitarised Zone between North and South Korea, which marks its 70th anniversary this year: we look back at the establishment of the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission and report on an exhibition on Korea in Basel. This edition of SPS is therefore focusing on options for action identified from SIPRI's Environment of Peace report, two experts reporting on women in water diplomacy in Central Asia, and climate induced migration in East Africa. We bring you coverage of the first Swiss national to be appointed head of the UNTSO peacekeeping mission, and discuss Switzerland's engagement in Syria and Lebanon.
