Advice for Swiss Abroad (de/fr/it)

The Swiss Review is now available in electronic form. Up to now, Swiss citizens living abroad have had the publication delivered directly to their homes by post. From now on, it will be possible to receive future editions online. A form to enable the subscribers to indicate which language version they would like is now available.

 The introduction of passports containing electronically stored biometric information is part of an international commitment Switzerland has undertaken. Fulfilment of this commitment will ensure freedom of travel for Swiss citizens in the future. From February 24, 2010, the new Swiss biometric passport can be ordered on line. The relevant link will be added as soon as it is available.

Important information for Swiss citizens who intend travelling to the USA or transiting via the USA:
As of 01.07.2009, the swiss provisory passport is no longer accepted to enter the USA since it has no electronic chip.
