Switzerland has maintained a presence in Pyongyang since 1997. Following the suspension of activities in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, considerations are underway regarding a renewed Swiss presence in the DPRK under the authority of the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing.
