Important COVID-19 Information
- Bangladesh has suspended issuing on arrival visas for all incoming passengers until further notice. Upon arrival in Bangladesh, foreign nationals with valid visas are required to produce a medical certificate (with English translation) issued within 72 hours of travel indicating the passenger is COVID-19 symptom-free. Diplomatic passport holders, family members of diplomats with valid visas and holders of laissez passer posted in Bangladesh are exempt from the above.
- Passengers arriving from coronavirus (COVID-19) affected countries are required to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. Health officials at the point of entry to Bangladesh will assess whether passengers are able to self-quarantine or need to be taken to a government facility. Special quarantine provisions apply to passengers arriving with a No Visa Required certificate.
