The following documents are in general required when applying for an entry visa for work in Switzerland:
- authorisation issued by the cantonal authority (original or copy)
- application for a long stay visa (visa D) (PDF, 1 Page, 318.1 kB, English)
- valid passport (original)
- a recent photograph
- visa fees
