Erwartete Resultate:  

FIAN:

• Revised legal and policy frameworks on food and nutrition security according to CEDAW General Recommendation No. 34.
•  Establishment or consolidation of national-level platforms for policy dialogue on the RtFN.
•  Reference to RtFN frameworks in the Voluntary National
  reviews (VNR) presented in the HLPF in reference to progress on SDG goals 2 and 5.
•  Establishment or consolidation of national RtFN monitoring spaces in line with the CFS monitoring process.
•  Enhanced use of the People’s Monitoring process and of the Watch in national-level monitoring processes and accountability mechanisms.
•  Increased references to the RtFN by regional accountability mechanisms.
•  Adoption of a global framework on nutrition that is based on the RtFN.
•  Adoption of general comments and recommendations by UN human rights treaty bodies that reflect a holistic interpretation of the RtFN.
•  Adoption of versions of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and the UN Treaty to Regulate Transnational corporations that reflect strong gender equality language and approach.
  

Special rapporteur on the right to food:

•  Strengthened presence of the SR at the CFS
• Increased promotion of the work of the mandate

Enhancement and further coherence of the international normative and policy framework on the RtFN, such as the inclusion of rural women constituencies in the drafting process of the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)’s General Recommendation No. 34.

Increased knowledge and ownership on human rights instruments, such as the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests (VGGT) among local communities, national actors and members of the Global Network for the Right to Food and Nutrition (GNRtFN).
