La crisis continúa en el este de Ucrania donde millones de personas siguen sin agua ni medicamentos. Las organizaciones humanitarias que están trabajando en el terreno deben superar múltiples obstáculos para transportar la ayuda. La Oficina de Coordinación de Asuntos Humanitarios de las Naciones Unidas (OCAH) interviene para resolver este tipo de situaciones. Para ello la COSUDE pone a su disposición fondos y expertos y, a cambio, utiliza los servicios de la organización durante sus propias intervenciones humanitarias.

Swiss communes improve access to water in countries of the South

Solidarit’eau suisse is helping fund projects to improve access to clean drinking water in developing countries. Initiated by the SDC, this internet platform enables communes and other local authorities in Switzerland to consult the list of projects and, if they want to become more involved, make contact with partners abroad.

Un accès aisé à des informations de qualité sur la coopération au développement, la coopération internationale de la Suisse et sur les grands défis globaux de nos sociétés est indispensable à la formation de l’opinion publique suisse. Indian Himalayas Climate Adaptation Programme

The sensitivity of the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR) to changes in global climate has been recognised and given priority by the Government of India. However, knowledge and scientific information on climate change impacts on the IHR is still limited and capacities to adapt are weak. The Indian Himalayas Climate Adaptation Programme (IHCAP) aims at bridging the knowledge gap on climate change impacts and response measures by supporting collaborative research, capacity building and knowledge exchange and dissemination.

Through the usage of food aid in the form of Swiss dairy products, Swiss Humanitarian Aid contributes to the prevention and treatment of malnutrition, undernourishment, and disease. The SDC’s Humanitarian Aid administers the credit granted by parliament for a yearly amount of some CHF 20 million destined for the purchase of Swiss dairy products and their use for the benefit of the needy. Its task is to ensure a sustainable, targeted, and closely monitored food aid.

Milchproduktehilfe für Alten- und Behinderteninstitutionen

Mit dem Einsatz von schweizerischen Milchprodukten in der Nahrungsmittelhilfe leistet die Humanitäre Hilfe des Bundes einen Beitrag zur Vorbeugung und Behandlung von Fehl-/Unterernährung und Krankheiten. Der vom Parlament gesprochene Kredit von jährlich rund 20 Millionen Franken für den Kauf von schweizerischen Milchprodukten und deren Einsatz zu Gunsten Bedürftiger wird von der Humanitären Hilfe verwaltet. Sie hat den Auftrag, eine nachhaltige, gezielte und eng begleitete Nahrungsmittelhilfe sicherzustellen.
