Programme de Renforcement des Capacités d'Action des Femmes (RECAFEM)

Le programme va poursuivre l’appui au Gouvernement du Bénin et aux organisations de la société civile pour réduire les inégalités femmes/hommes aux plans social, culturel, juridique et économique. Le personnel des Ministères sectoriels et des organisations aux niveaux macro et méso sera appuyé, afin de renforcer son engagement et ses compétences, dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre des politiques publiques et des initiatives et actions de développement en faveur des femmes.

WFP Secondment Protection and Gender Advisor

In Myanmar especially conflict affected and rural populations suffer from moderate to severe malnutrition; but also extreme weather conditions may increase the situation of food insecurity. In recent years there have been reports on protection gaps in the implementation of WFP programmes and women and children are struggling to receive support. The secondment will provide technical support in the domain of protection and gender to the WFP country program.

Water and Sanitation in Moldova

In Moldova, a majority of people living in rural areas lack access to safe drinking water and sanitation. To improve this situation, the project will establish decentralised water supply Systems and environmental sanitation facilities. The experience is then anchored in sector institutions by fostering their capacity, streamlining internal procedures, and handing over the lead in the implementation. In total, 60'000 people will have access to sustainable an improved water and 26'000 people to ecological toilets.

Libia continúa siendo un punto de partida codiciado por millares de personas que huyen de la miseria y la violencia y desean llegar a Europa por el Mediterráneo. La COSUDE brinda apoyo a dos ONG que asisten en dicho país a personas migrantes víctimas de agresiones y detenciones arbitrarias. En 2015 Suiza aportó 2 millones de CHF a los sectores de la migración y la protección de la población civil en Libia.

Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights: Contribution to Country Office Honduras

Human Rights promotion and protection in Honduras does not live up to international standards nor does it comply with international commitments as shown by the 2010 Universal Periodic review of the Human Rights Council. On demand of the Government of Honduras the UN is establishing a Country Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in 2015. The office will combat impunity and strengthen the capacities of governmental entities and CSO-institutions to protect human rights.

Promotion of Sustainable Economic Development inKyrgyzstan

The project contributes to sustainable economic growth and thus Job creation and increased incomes, especially for youth and women, in Jalal-Abad Oblast of Southern Kyrgyzstan. lt will focus on the development of selected value chains and the promotion of local economic development with the aim to enhance the competitiveness of targeted businesses and export sectors and, complementarily, to promote a business enabling environment as a precondition for private sector growth.

La sequía, la escasez de forraje y los conflictos sobre recursos naturales dificultan la existencia de los ganaderos en el sur de Etiopía. A fin de reforzar la seguridad alimentaria y la resistencia a las crisis de estos grupos, la COSUDE ha tomado una serie de medidas que abarcan desde el saneamiento de los pastos y los pozos de agua hasta la incorporación de nuevas fuentes de ingresos para las mujeres, pasando por la introducción de planes de explotación.

Jebel Mara WASH and Health Improvement Project

The humanitarian operation in Sudan is one of the largest in the world. According to the 2015 Humanitarian response Plan, 5.4 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in different parts of the country, particularly in Darfur, South-Kordofan and Blue Nile State. In Darfur, fighting in 2014 has led to the displacement of 430’000 persons. That is more than in any single year since the height of the conflict in 2004. This phase of the project will be implemented in the wider region of Jebel Mara in Central Darfur. The current phase of the project runs for 19 months and will further build the capacity of IDPs, Host Communities and Public Institutions in the fields of WASH and Basic Health Services.

Smallholder farmers boost their incomes thanks to mobile phones

Agricultural and financial services provided via mobile phone and public-private partnerships now have the potential to reach millions. Agri-Fin Mobile, a provider of agricultural and microfinanced services via mobile phone in Indonesia, Uganda and Zimbabwe, is expected to reach 280,000 smallholder farmers.

Biocultura y Cambio Climático

El proyecto Biocultura es un esfuerzo conjunto entre el Gobierno de Bolivia y la Cooperación Suiza, para contribuir a la superación de la pobreza y el “Vivir Bien” de comunidades campesinas-indígenas en áreas de pobreza extrema, pero de alta riqueza en términos de biodiversidad y cultura de la zona andina de Bolivia. El Vivir Bien es el paradigma del Estado boliviano, establecido en su Constitución y que busca el disfrute de los bienes materiales en armonía y complementariedad con la Madre Tierra (entorno natural/cultural).

Assistance en protection et en sécurité alimentaire aux personnes déplacées internes et aux retournés dans la province du Nord Kivu, RDC

Le présent projet vise à mettre en œuvre des activités qui seront une intersection entre les opérations d’urgence et les opérations de résilience et de stabilisation en Territoire de Masisi, au Nord Kivu. Les activités d’urgence comprennent la gestion de l’information, de gestion des sites de déplacement et de coordination humanitaire. Les actions de stabilisation comprennent des activités de relance agricole et économique qui seront menées dans les zones de retour.

Médecins du Monde Belgique: Tamkine Migrants (Promouvoir l’intégration médicale des femmes migrantes au Maroc)

La nouvelle politique migratoire présentée par le Maroc en septembre 2013 offre une opportunité pour la concrétisation de la volonté du pays de respecter ses engagements internationaux envers les migrants et leur intégration. Pour des raisons administratives, financières ou par manque de capacités, les institutions marocaines ne sont pas encore en mesure de généraliser leur prestations aux femmes migrantes vulnérables. Ce projet vise à améliorer l’accès médico-psycho-social des femmes migrantes au Maroc (Rabat et Oujda) en institutionnalisant et transférant le savoir-faire de la société civile aux structures publiques.
