Partenariats pour l’exercice d’une gouvernance appropriée

Tirant les leçons de la crise de 2012-2013, le Mali veut se reconstruire à partir de ses régions en valorisant les diversités géographiques et sociales dans un pays uni. Dans cette démarche, la Suisse soutient les Conseils régionaux de Tombouctou et Mopti pour promouvoir l’économie des territoires d’une part et, d’autre part,  pour renforcer la société civile et les autorités traditionnelles en matière de redevabilité et de transparence. Ce programme est une mise à l’échelle des acquis du portefeuille gestion publique locale de la DDC à Sikasso.

WFP - Food Aid Swiss Dairy Products (Algeria)

Through the usage of food aid in the form of Swiss dairy products, Swiss Humanitarian Aid contributes to the prevention and treatment of malnutrition, undernourishment, and disease. The SDC’s Humanitarian Aid administers the credit granted by parliament for a yearly amount of some CHF 20 million destined for the purchase of Swiss dairy products and their use for the benefit of the needy. Its task is to ensure a sustainable, targeted, and closely monitored food aid.

Allocation (Cereals) of SDC Funding to WFP Operations in 2015

SDC funding to WFP operations allows the World Food Programme (WFP) to respond proactively and to provide immediate food assistance in life-threatening situations.

En vista de la importancia adquirida por el sector minero informal a principios del siglo XXI, el Gobierno mongol, apoyado por la COSUDE, inició en 2005 un proyecto de explotación minera artesanal sostenible. El proyecto tiene por objeto oficializar y legalizar estas actividades, así como desarrollar las capacidades de los mineros.

Research for Action

Access to safe water and sanitation is a human right, essential for poverty reduction, health, economic development and a life in dignity. The Department of Water and Sanitation in Developing Countries (Sandec) and the Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN) are long-term strategic partners of SDC, working towards universal access to water and sanitation on the global level, with a focus on the poor and marginalized, through applied research, transformative innovations, documentation of best practices, capacity development and networking.

Contribution to Swiss DRR NGO Platform, Beitrag 2015-2016

The Swiss NGO DRR Platform is a network of NGO professionals dedicated to increase the resilience of women and  men, communities and governments in all aspects of DRR and ACC. The Platform focuses on  three core tasks (capacity building, technical advice and advocacy).  

The member NGOs have a common vision and agreed standards, a common ground to develop and implement DRR initiatives and entity to work nationally and internationally.

AfDB - SDC Partnership on enhancing the Bank’s fragility and conflict sensitivity

Based on its Ten-year Strategy, the Bank will strengthen its engagement in fragile and conflict affected coun­tries/situations which is also a priority in Switzerland’s development bill 2013-16. This partnership will assist the Bank in building the necessary capacities and instruments to translate fragility concepts and approaches into more effective operations on the ground.  Other outcomes will be a new diagnostic tool “Country Resil­ience and Fragility Assessment (CRFA)” and strengthened capacities in the Bank and in 30 African countries.
