Providing for Health P4H

Providing for Health P4H is a global network of multi- and bilateral development partners and banks who are working on social health protection. The network was founded in 2008 at the G8 in Heiligendamm by France and Germany and comprises currently the following partner: WHO, ILO, WB, AFDB, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain and the United States of America. The network is supporting currently 23 countries in their creation and extension of social health protection systems.

El Centro Internacional para la Recuperación de Activos (ICAR, por sus siglas en inglés) es un centro de competencia independiente sin ánimo de lucro que tiene por misión ayudar a los países en desarrollo a recuperar los fondos robados. Dado su relevancia internacional como contraparte estratégica para la recuperación de activos, la COSUDE apoya al ICAR desde su creación en 2006. El programa de recuperación de activos reviste una gran importancia política para Suiza, dado su papel pionero en la adopción de medidas legales contra los fondos robados depositados en bancos suizos y en su devolución a sus dueños legítimos.

Formación técnica profesional

Existe una creciente conciencia política y social sobre la formación técnica como la llave para la reducción de la pobreza en Bolivia. Desde 2006, la Agencia Suiza para el Desarrollo y la Cooperación (COSUDE) esta trabajando en esta área con resultados importantes en la calidad de la capacitación, relevancia y extensión en áreas rurales. Esta fase se enfoca en la consolidación de los resultados en el área rural, expandiendo el trabajo al área urbana, promoviendo la alta capacitación de los profesores con el apoyo del Ministerio de Educación en su implementación como política pública.
