Community Service Workshops

The project has established one community service workshop in Bucharest in partnership between VEBO Switzerland, the Foundation FPSC and the Ministry of Justice in Romania. Within the project, a publicity campaign to further increase the use of alternative sanctions in the form of community service has been implemented. Community Service Workshops (Probation)

The project will - on the experience already gained since 2007 - establish a community service workshop in Bucharest in partnership between VEBO Switzerland, the Foundation FPSC and the Ministry of Justice in Romania as well as set the basis for the creation of two more workshops in other cities. Thematic Fund Civil Society Participation Romania - NGO

The Thematic Fund linked to Civil Society Participation in Romania has the purpose to promote the contribution of civil society organizations as important actors in development and participation. This is to be achieved through Swiss-Romanian projects in the environment sector and through an NGO-Block Grant to support a number of smaller projects of Romanian NGOs in environment and social areas.
