We have received reports that the FDFA's Helpline numbers
are being misused by fraudsters.
'Spoofing' is the practice of 'stealing' other people's telephone numbers. The caller transmits a fake phone number along with the phone signal to conceal their true identity from the receiver. Please beware of unexpected calls/unknown callers. Never disclose any information to such callers.
