Tragic fire on New Year's Eve in Crans-Montana

Switzerland is deeply shaken by the tragic fire on New Year's Eve in Crans-Montana. In the wake of this tragedy, our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, with all those who are still waiting for news about their loved ones, and with the helpers in Switzerland who are working tirelessly.

Switzerland thanks all countries for their expressions of condolence and solidarity. Switzerland is also grateful for the support and assistance provided by various governments in admitting injured persons to hospitals and establishing contact with victims' families abroad.
