To commemorate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on October 13, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tajikistan, jointly with the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan organizes two Round Tables to discuss the issues of Improving Watershed-based Flood Risk Management and Financing Disaster Risk Reduction in Tajikistan.
The Roundtables are conducted in the frame of the project on “Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance in Tajikistan” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by UNDP. Further details on the events will be provided by UNDP.
