A short but intense workshop will allow a profound debate about the conditions of cover design for special interest books for a professional and also broader audience on 14. October 2017 10:00-16:00 at the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre.
How can we defend our ambitions as designers against the sometimes rude assertions and claims from marketing and the trade? What defines a good book cover? The participants are requested to bring one sample of a favorite cover. In a brief session they will propose an alternative to one cover out of Lars Müller Publishers’ program. The workshop will end with a plenary discussion.
Maximum number of participants is limited to 20.
