Since 15 November 2021, Peru is no longer considered a risk country by the State Secretariat for Migration, so the normal entry conditions apply again. Peruvian nationals are not required to have a Schengen visa to enter Switzerland, and it is therefore not necessary to complete any formalities at this representation.
If you are entering Switzerland by transit through another Schengen airport, we recommend that you contact the representation of the transit country to find out about any restrictions that may apply.
It is the traveller's responsibility to find out about possible restrictions in the countries of transit and/or previous stay as well as the conditions on board the airline. Please contact the representation and the airline concerned.
Further information on entry requirements (invitation letter, insurance, etc.) can be found on the website of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).
Please note that as of 2 May 2022, it will no longer be necessary to be in possession of the Covid certificate, further information can be found on the website of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
