Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard, Swiss Minister for Infrastructure, Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications, paid an official visit to Singapore on Monday, 6 July 2015. Federal Councillor Leuthard met with her Singaporean counterparts, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Lui Tuck Yew, Minister for Transport and Mr. S. Iswaran, Minister in Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and for Trade and Industry. Federal Councillor Leuthard and her counterparts underlined the excellent bilateral relations between our two countries. They also emphasised the potential of future cooperation in all the fields of environment, transport, energy and trade. On this occasion, Federal Councillor Leuthard visited the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC) and held a keynote speech at the Create Tower campus on the topic of ICT, Energy and Mobility in which she emphasised the importance to join forces in these fields to move forward.
