Promotion of Social Accountability Tools and Process in Southern Africa (with special focus on Health and Rural Development)

Projet terminé

The overall goal of the project is to improve the effective and accountable use of public resources through the promotion of social accountability tools in Southern Africa. Capacity building to analyse and advocate on government budget spending will be one of the central focus. CSA’s support activities will focus on the selection of actors in the fields of health and rural development. SDC also will encourage partners in the domains of health and rural development to attend CSA course on social accountability tools and develop ways of utilising them. This will serve as a basis in providing further support through governance mainstreaming on a case-by-case and demand-driven basis.
