Le Fonds Fiduciaire «Fragility and Conflict Partnership» améliore la collaboration entre la Banque Mondiale et les Nations Unies par le biais de projets concrets et d’initiatives institutionnelles, permettant ainsi de démontrer la valeur ajoutée d’une meilleure coopération entre ces deux institutions. Le Fonds contribue à améliorer l’efficacité de l’aide internationale dans les pays dits fragiles.

Serbia remains fairly centralized while local governments have limited capacities. Division of tasks, responsibilities and competencies between municipalities and central state is important. The Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), association of local governments in Serbia, strives to overcome gaps between central and local level. SDC supports SCTM advocacy department to represent municipalities before the central government and support its members to implement policies and regulations.

Advancing Land Use Rights and Natural Resources Benefits

Approved in 2009, the Mozambican legislation on land, forestry and fauna is considered as one of the most progressive in terms of protection of the interests of the local communities. However more than 14 years after its approval, the rights of the communities are still precarious. SDC program aims at advancing the land use rights of the local communities as a necessary asset for a more sustainable economic development.

Municipal Development in South and SouthWest Serbia - European PROGRES

The European Partnership with Municipalities Program funded by Switzerland, the EU and Serbia supports 34 underdeveloped municipalities in South and South West Serbia. The Program addresses municipal capacities to plan for development, attract investments and improves service delivery for 1 million citizens and the private sector in line with good governance pnnciples. It also contributes to enhanced multi-ethnic dialogue and improved cooperation between central and local governments.

Avec une contribution volontaire centrée sur l’éducation de base et le développement durable, la DDC crée des synergies avec ses programmes et augmente son impact auprès des jeunes.

En la fase de transición de la ayuda de emergencia a la reconstrucción a largo plazo, la COSUDE ha implementado desde enero hasta agosto de 2014 distintos proyectos en Filipinas. La Ayuda Humanitaria de la Confederación consideró prioritarias las áreas de la rehabilitación y renovación así como de la depuración del agua y la higiene (WASH). En total, se apoyó sustancialmente a unas 33000 personas, entre ellas más de 2700 escolares.

The CHF is a multi-donor pooled fund, managed under the direction of the Humanitarian Coordinator (HC). The fund finances projects of UN agencies, international and national non-governmental organizations. The CHF is used for timely allocation and disbursement of donor resources to the most urgent humanitarian needs and critical gaps in Sudan. The CHF meaningfully strengthens the response capacity and fosters at the same time greater sectoral responsibility and accountability – it has an important role in the current situation.

More comprehensive information on their current status and trends would enable Member States to better make evidence-based development decisions for sustainable development, management and use of sanitation and water resources. The 6th Sustainable Development Goal of the 2030 Agendawill provide a unique opportunity to address the multiple and growing challenges associated with sustainable water and sanitation. This includes the need for a coherent and holistic monitoring framework with improved data acquisition and the analysis to track progress.

La contribution au Programme d’Education du LARES (ex-RECADEL) est un outil d’amélioration de la réussite éducative des filles et des jeunes femmes qui favorise leur insertion socio-professionnelle. Il vise à influencer les politiques et pratiques éducatives au Bénin. En effet, l’équité dans l’accès à l’éducation de base et à la formation professionnelle des jeunes femmes et leur maintien dans le système, notamment dans le département du Borgou, ne sont pas toujours assurés par l’Etat.
