he upgrade of the infrastructure of railway border crossing in Siemianówka will allow Poland to comply with national legislation as well as with the EU standards in the field of border management and protection. The project will have a positive impact in terms of economic development for the Podlaski Voivodeship.

Aktivitäten

The project finances the construction of a new train border crossing in Siemianówka, adjusting it to the national and EU-norms and regulations ant at the same time improving the working conditions for the officers and civil workers of border guards and customs officers. Concretely new enclosed structures include a building of the border guard facilities, custom chamber facilities, access facilities and road infrastructure and phytosanitary service building.

Achieved results by the end of 2013:

  • Promotional measures (dissemination of promotional materials, information on the project updated on local websites, etc.)
  • Construction of the administrative building for the Border Guards
  • Construction of the administrative building and the Outbuilding for the Customs Chamber
  • Construction of the road infrastructure with auxiliary facilities
  • Construction of the phytosanitary service building
