Swiss representations to international organizations

Switzerland is represented in Geneva by its Permanent Mission to the UN and other international organisations and by its Permanent Mission to the WTO and EFTA.

In line with its foreign policy goals, Switzerland promotes its interests at the UN and takes part in the same way as other member states.

Switzerland represents its interests and positions in the areas of food and agriculture at the relevant UN organisations in Rome

Switzerland has been represented by a permanent delegation to the OSCE in Vienna since 1993.

The Swiss Mission to the EU represents Switzerland's interests in Brussels in line with the country's foreign policy objectives.

The FDFA maintains a mission in Brussels to represent Swiss interests at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

The delegation represents Swiss interests at the Council of Europe, monitors the work of institutions on site and serves as a link to other stakeholders in Switzerland.

The delegation to the OECD in Paris represents Switzerland’s interests and supports Swiss delegates who travel to Paris each year to attend meetings.

Switzerland advances its economic interests in the WTO and EFTA, helping create favourable conditions for Swiss companies in global trade.
