The FDFA
The FDFA determines and coordinates Swiss foreign policy on behalf of the Federal Council, pursues the set foreign policy objectives, safeguards Switzerland's national interests and promotes Swiss values. With about 170 representations around the world, the Department's head office is in Bern and is divided into a General Secretariat, a State Secretariat and four directorates.

Do you have any questions regarding communications?
Our communication service is available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 5pm.

FDFA Communication answers media queries Mondays to Fridays during office hours and operates a weekend emergency on-call service.
