The Swiss Embassy in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) has represented Swiss interests in Antigua and Barbuda since 2007. Since May 2011, all consular tasks have been dealt with by the Regional Consular Centre in Santo Domingo.
Economic cooperation
The economy of Antigua and Barbuda relies primarily on tourism and financial services. There is a modest amount of trade between the two countries. In 2019, Switzerland imported goods worth CHF 40,000. Swiss exports to Antigua and Barbuda – primarily watches, machinery and pharmaceuticals – amounted to CHF 1.5 million.
