Switzerland and Guyana have concluded agreements on visa waivers for holders of diplomatic or official passports, extradition and investment protection. The Swiss embassy in Caracas, Venezuela, represents Switzerland’s interests in Guyana.
In 2022 Switzerland imported goods – primarily gold – worth CHF 2.4 million from Guyana. Swiss exports to Guyana – primarily machinery, metals and electronic devices – amounted to CHF 1.9 million.
