The Swiss embassy in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) represents Switzerland's interests in Antigua and Barbuda. Since May 2011, consular matters have been handled by the regional consular centre in Santo Domingo.

The islands of Antigua and Barbuda are a former British colony where sugar cane was once the predominant crop. Switzerland recognised the independence of Antigua and Barbuda in 1981 and has maintained diplomatic relations with the island nation since then.
