The fees are set out in Article 46 and Annex 2 of the Ordinance on Identity Documents for Swiss Nationals (SR 143.116). These are payable in the currency determined by the Swiss representation.
Fees
The fees have to be paid in cash on the occasion of your personal visit to the Regional consular center in Santo Domingo.

*These delivery fees are for forwarding from the place of production in Switzerland to the Swiss representation abroad or to the holder of the identity document abroad.
The Swiss representation reserves the right to adapt the amounts at any time in relation to exchange rate fluctuations.

Temporary Passport
A temporary passport, which has a maximum validity of one year, may be issued in cases of emergency only. It must be returned to the issuing authority for cancellation after the travel is completed. The passport fee is currently CHF 100.00 for adults and children.
As from 1 July 2009, this type of passport can only be used in conjunction with a valid visa in order to enter the U. S.
Identity Card. For the identity card, the same application procedure as for the biometric passport (Model 10) applies.
