The Swiss Embassy in Tel Aviv represents the interests of Switzerland in Israel and promotes political dialogue and cultural, economic and scientific cooperation between the two countries. It is also a consular center for Swiss nationals living and traveling in Israel.

The Swiss Embassy is looking for a media analyst (100%) in English, Hebrew and Arab language.
1. Your tasks
As media analyst you have the following tasks:
- Research and analyses of local media on the internet (newspapers, publications, articles, internet sites etc.) and on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.) in English, Hebrew and Arabic about political and security policy developments in Israel, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the broader region.
- Regular editing of summaries and analyses of the acquired results in either English, German or French.
2. Your profile
- University degree (Master), for instance in Political Sciences;
- Very good knowledge of Hebrew, Arabic and English (level C1 for reading, if possible writing)
- Very good writing skills in either English, French or German
- Capacity to understand, analyze and anticipate developments in politics, security policy and society.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Excellent (practical) knowledge of the use and research on the internet and in social media.
- Excellent capacity in synthesis and accurate editing of research results.
- Ability to work autonomously, but also in a team, if needed.
- Strong motivation and a sense of initiative, flexibility, availability and responsibility.
- Willingness to develop your skills and to learn new tools and techniques.
