In the field of peace and human rights the Embassy contributes to a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine by,among other things, , offering its good offices and engaging in peace.

The peace policy programme focuses on people's needs for security and victim-centered approach to justice by strengthening the capacity of relevant  state institutions in addressing the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, supporting international and local organisations in the documentation and prosecution of (war) crimes and human rights violations, and promoting the work of Ukrainian organisations with local communities and authorities to foster social cohesion.
