As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.

The tasks of the embassy

 

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Swiss Embassy in Algeria informs that due to the current situation linked to the coronavirus (COVID-19), no new visa appointment will be given before 15.06.2020. All appointments that have already been scheduled until 15.06.2020 are canceled. Applicants who have already submitted a visa application can recover their passports normally on the day of withdrawal as indicated on the coupons.

Consular services (legalization and civil status) are also suspended until 15.06.2020.

The counters remain open only to Swiss nationals, for emergencies and with appointment.
