Coronavirus / COVID-19 – Travelling to Switzerland
Removal from the risk list
Effective from 02.05.2022, Algeria is no longer considered a high-risk country. The normal entry requirements apply again to any person entering Switzerland. Thus, all remaining Covid entry restrictions to Switzerland will be lifted. Even non-vaccinated/recovered travellers will be exempted from previous Covid restrictions, regardless of the country of origin or reason for travel. As of May 2nd, entry into Switzerland will again be possible under the normal conditions as before the pandemic (see SEM FAQ Entry).
