Visa customers should book a time slot through Switzerland's online visa system. Please note: a time slot can only be booked if the visa application is filled in online at the same time.
Visa customers who prefer to fill in their application on paper only (rather than online) have to ask for an appointment by e-mail. Priority will be given to customers who fill in their visa application online.
All visa applications must be submitted to the visa section in paper form with the relevant documentation and passport. If the finger prints were captured less than 59 months ago and can be copied, applications may be submitted through a mandated third person (simple Power of Attorney). In case copying is not possible, the customer will be invited to come in person to the visa section so that the finger prints can be captured again.
Important notice:
Due to the high demand, there are currently no online appointments available within the next 14 days. In order to schedule an appointment to submit your visa application, you must contact the visa section by e-mail with the following information: number of your online visa application (according to the e-mail confirmation that you received), a scanned copy of your passport, the reason (medical, official, business, etc.) and the planned date of your travel: baku.visa@eda.admin.ch
Groups of 6 people or more are kindly requested to contact the visa section by e-mail for a direct appointment.
