NZO | Photo Concert in the Philharmonie Berlin 1.6.2014 NZO

The New Zurich Orchestra (NZO, Neues Zürcher Orchester) is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the orchestra is planning a special Asia Tour in collaboration with the Swiss Philharmonic Academy. In April 2015, the Chinese music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy its concert in Shanghai, with a rich program featuring flutist Philippe Jundt as soloist and Spanish composer Rodrigo who will give a concert for flutes, just to mention a few.

The NZO was founded in 1990 and is publicly recognized as a nonprofit institution fostering young musical talents. The mission of the NZO is to offer an ideal learning environment to gain practical experience at a high level while fully enjoying the true pleasure of making music. About 1,000 young musicians and soloists from over 30 countries have benefited from the unique structure of the orchestra in the past 25 years.
