The touring exhibition, ‘Swiss Design Classics’, which forms a key part of the public diplomacy program marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland, is set to open at the Fosun Foundation in Shanghai at the end of May. It is curated by Christian Herren, jointly hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in China, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai and the Fosun Foundation.
‘Swiss Design Classics’ encapsulates the rich 400-year history of Swiss design. It covers everything from everyday objects to design inventions that have influenced the world. The exhibition offers visitors a personal and authentic encounter with Switzerland’s innovative and creative spirit, inviting them to experience the unique charm of Swiss design.
