SPURS Gallery presents the group exhibition 'The Arcadian Dream', curated by art advisor Thomas Stauffer, with works by a total of 13 artists including two Swiss artists Alina Kopytsia and Diego Kohli.
Trio ARS ET LABOR, established in 2011, brings together three instrumentalists - Swiss pianist Christa Bützberger, Italian violonist Sara Gianfriddo, and French cellist Héloïse Piolat, - that, as the renowned critic and musicologist Christoph Schlüren wrote, have “internationally revivified the great Italian tradition of the piano trio. The name itself is programmatic: ARS ET LABOR stands for the most refined interpretative culture, entirely at the service of music.” Since the first concerts, the Trio has stood out for its solid background and the exquisite performance of masterpieces for this formation.

Our Consulate will be participating in the Fest by providing a documentary film “Customs and Traditions” in Switzerland and two VR films about Swiss Alps and Zurich from a bird-eyes view.

Local renowned flutist Matthew Wu will also appear as a guest performer. The net proceeds from this charity recital will benefit Music Children Foundation, a charitable organisation in Hong Kong striving to provide free training on musical instruments to impoverished children aged below 12.
