Switzerland and Hong Kong share many trademarks. Despite their small size, both are among the most competitive and innovative economies in the world and have strong financial centers.

Switzerland and Hong Kong may be far apart but our bilateral relations are strong and diverse. Switzerland is among the top ten foreign direct investors in Hong Kong, which serves as an important regional and international business hub for over 250 Swiss companies. Hong Kong is Switzerland’s third largest trading partner in Asia.

In addition to economic ties, the Consulate General of Switzerland promotes further exchanges and cooperation between Switzerland and Hong Kong in areas such as science and innovation, education and culture.

Our presence in Hong Kong is strengthened by Switzerland Tourism, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce (SwissCham) and the Swiss Association, among other institutions.

The jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Hong Kong also includes the Macao Special Administrative Region.
