Massimo Baggi, currently head of mission in Abu Dhabi, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Romania, based in Bucharest.
Félix Baumann, currently head of the Multilateral Affairs Division and deputy permanent representative of Switzerland to the United Nations Office and to the other international organisations, permanent representative to the Conference on Disarmament and ambassador-at-large of Switzerland to the Human Rights Council in Geneva, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, based in Kyiv.
Nicolas Brühl, currently head of mission in Pretoria, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of the Philippines, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, based in Manila.
Sabrina Dallafior Matter, currently consul general in Milan, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Finland, based in Helsinki.
Alain Gaschen, currently head of mission in Manila, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mozambique, based in Maputo.
Nathalie Marti, currently assistant director of the Directorate of International Law in Bern, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland, based in Oslo.
Mauro Reina, currently head of mission in Havana, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Denmark, based in Copenhagen.
Reto Siegfried Renggli, currently director of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries in Taipei, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, based in Dhaka.
Gilles Roduit, until recently deputy head of the Peace and Human Rights Division (PHRD) at the FDFA State Secretariat in Bern, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Barbados, Grenada, the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Republic of Suriname, and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, as well as Switzerland's representative to CARICOM (Guyana), based in Caracas.
Jürg Sprecher, currently head of mission in Caracas, has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kosovo, based in Pristina.
Conferment of ambassadorial titles
Fritz Ammann, until recently deputy secretary general of the FDF and head of the FDF GS Staff Office in Bern, has been conferred the title of ambassador for his new function as head of the Tax Division of the State Secretariat for International Finance at the FDF in Bern.
Matteo Fachinotti, currently deputy head of mission, head of the Multilateral Division and deputy permanent representative of Switzerland to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, has been conferred the title of ambassador for his new function as permanent representative of Switzerland to the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization at the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the OSCE, the United Nations and other International Organisations in Vienna.
Michael Gerber, currently head of the Dublin, Stay and Resettlement Division at the State Secretariat for Migration of the FDJP in Bern, has been conferred the title of ambassador for his new function as head of the International Programmes and Organisations Division at the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation of the EAER in Bern.
Ivo Germann has been conferred the title of ambassador for his current function as head of the Foreign Economic Affairs Directorate at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the EAER in Bern.
Yannick Yvan Roulin, currently head of the Host State Division of the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations Office and the other international organisations in Geneva, has been conferred the title of ambassador for his new function as director of the International Geneva Welcome Centre.
Change of diplomatic responsibility for the Republic of Haiti
Diplomatic responsibility for the Republic of Haiti has been transferred from the representation in Port-au-Prince to the representation in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). Rita Hämmerli-Weschke, currently head of mission in Santo Domingo, has additionally been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Haiti.
