The Swiss Embassy is showing the film Atlas as part of the Settimana della Lingua Italiana. The main character is Allegra, a young woman with a lot of vitality. She grows up in Switzerland amidst a postcard landscape and has three good friends who share her passion for the mountains. They embark on a journey to Morocco to climb the peaks of the Atlas.
But their carefree life comes to an abrupt end when a café is bombed in a terrorist attack and only Allegra escapes alive. When she returns home, she meets Arad, a young refugee with whom she begins a love-hate relationship.
