In October, attention is drawn to Swiss film creation: The theme of this year's Italian language week "Settimana della Lingua Italiana" is film and Switzerland is also focus country of the “36th Uppsala International Short Film Festival”.
The Swiss film evening during the Italian language week takes place on October 17th, when we show the film "Il Nido" by Klaudia Reynicke at 19:00 at the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm. The film is about a young woman confronted with crimes committed in the past in her family. Please visit iicstoccolma.esteri.it for more information.
During the short film festival, the Swiss competing movie is "Rythm of Being" by Giada Ghiringhelli. In addition, Corina Schwingruber Ilic and Nicola Ilic will host a master class on Thursday 26 October at 10.00 at the Grand cinema and five of their films will be shown the same day at 19:00 at Slottsbiografen.
