One off Allocation (Cash) of SDC Funding to UNICEF emergency Operations in 2015
In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of addressing underfunded crisis in a more predictable manner. SDC funding to UNICEF emergency programmes in 8 underfunded emergency situations allows UNICEF to better plan its assistance programmes and proactively respond to situations as needed. Moreover contributions will not be thematically earmarked except in Chad (WASH), Myanmar (Child Protection)and in Syria (SHARP).
