Known for her paintings and large-scale murals, Ariane Monod will exhibit some of her creations in Taipei. Her paintings are based on aluminum plates. Installed with small, invisible nails they integrate into the wall, appearing like murals. The Geneva-based artist had expositions in Switzerland, Japan and Hong Kong and is coming to Taiwan in early April. The opening will take place on the 3rd of April at 17:00, accompanied by a string quartet and followed by a two-day exhibition. The location is “Elsewhere”, a restaurant in the Da’an district of Taipei. The exhibition can be visited during the restaurant opening hours, between 17:00 and 02:00.
