In August the Seongnam Arts Center will present the Music Alps in Seongnam orchestra festival. This project is a music exchange education program for youth between the two cities of Zurich and Seongnam. The orchestra festival gives the opportunity for youth from Seongnam to have a music-making and learning experience by playing an instrument in a orchestra with musicians from the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and the Conservatory of Music Zurich. On August 14, the orchestra festival will end with a Final Concert conducted by Christian Vásquez. In 2016, the orchestra members will alternately visit Zurich to join a variety of exchange programs.
