The Embassy of Switzerland in London is exhibiting a selection of works by recently graduated and emerging students of the two principal universities offering fashion design courses in Switzerland in collaboration with HEAD Genève and Doing Fashion Basel, the Institute of Fashion Design Basel. The aim of both is to support their students in the process of conceiving and developing their own vision of fashion. The body acts as a blank canvas which is boundary and playground at the same time, allowing their visions to grow, pushing against and going beyond the limits of mainstream aesthetics. The resulting image stands for a new generation of talented young designers from Switzerland, each individually attuned to the present and future Zeitgeist. In their visions, the designers reflect on individualism and the idea of the body as a means of communication.

"VISIONARIES" is part of the IFS15, the International Fashion Showcase 2015 which is taking place during the London Fashion Week from 20 to 24 February 2015.
