BBC AEP Afghan Education Projects
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to positive human and societal development in Afghanistan by providing communities with crucial information and life skills which promote participation by both men and women in economic, social, cultural and political life; and thus contribute to the context necessary for effective nation building and reconciliation. BBC/AEP’s objective is to provide representative and educational radio programming and print materials which tackle, with specific SDC support, the following four key priorities: a) Sustainable livelihoods and the role of women; b) Water management; c) Reconciliation and nation and peace building; d) HIV/AIDS and other key health messages.
