Programme de construction de compétences pour le développement local (PCDL)

Au Mali, la faiblesse de compétence des ressources humaines entrave en partie le développement économique local. Pour minimiser cette lacune la DDC appuie depuis 2005 la formation d’étudiants de manière à soutenir les efforts de développement des acteurs locaux. Ce programme prendra fin en 2015. Cette phase de clôture permet d’accompagner les 147 étudiants encore présents dans le programme jusqu’à cette date. Ce vivier de compétences qualifié accompagnera la mise en œuvre des actions de développement au niveau local.

Appui au renforcement des capacités de la société civile

Le programme de renforcement de la société civile au Burkina Faso répond à un besoin d’outiller les acteurs de la vie socio-économique nationale pour leur permettre de jouer efficacement leur rôle d’interpellation et le suivi de la mise en œuvre des politiques publiques nationales. C’est un programme qui vient en complément aux autres programmes de la Suisse au Burkina. Un volet important concerne la lutte anti-corruption.

Climate and Clean Air in Latin American Cities Programme

Poor health resulting from air pollution costs billions of dollars annually in medical costs and lost productivity. Fast action to reduce air pollution can have a direct and more cost effective impact on climate change in the near term. The programme will support the alliance of key Latin American cities committed to taking action and making a difference on two fronts at once that will benefit the most vulnerable: air pollution and climate. The intervention will enhance South-South knowledge exchange capitalising on a successful and long-standing Chilean-Swiss partnership.

As of September 2013, an estimated 4.25 million people are internally displaced inside Syria and 2 million people are registered or waiting for their registration with UNHCR in neighbouring Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt.

Les communes et les régions sont confrontées à l’insuffisance de compétences techniques et de ressources financières pour fournir les services publics répondant aux besoins socio-économiques des hommes et des femmes. Dans ce contexte, la Suisse poursuivra son accompagnement aux communes et aux régions à travers un nouveau programme qui permettra à 26 communes et à 3 régions de planifier et de mettre en œuvre leurs actions de développement avec l’implication active d’une société civile capable de contrôler l’action publique des élus locaux.

Das öffentliche Bertha Calderon ist ein Referenzspital für Neonatologie in Nicaragua. Durch den Ausbau und die Modernisierung seiner Neonatologie-Abteilung leistet dieses single-phase-Projekt einen Beitrag zur Reduktion der Frühgeborenen-Sterblichkeit in Nicaragua. Nutzniesserinnen sind Familien aus der Unterschicht, die besseren Zugang zu adäquaten Dienstleistungen für Frühgeborene erhalten. Trotz Fortschritten weist Nicaragua eine der höchsten Säuglingssterblichkeitsraten der Region aus.

Risikomanagement für Partner des Global Fund (GFATM)

Das Ziel des Global Fund ist die Bekämpfung von AIDS, Tuberkulose und Malaria. In der Erfüllung seines Mandates arbeitet er über lokale Partner. Die Erfahrung hat jedoch gezeigt, dass diese oftmals Schwächen im Bereich von Risikomanagement und im Finanz-und Programmmanagement aufzeigen. Die Partnerschaft zwischen der DEZA und der GIZ sieht für die Stärkung der lokalen Partner in Risikomanagement eine Reihe von Unterstützungsmassnahmen vor.
