Governance Project in Municipal Water and Environmental Development (GOV-WADE)

Die DEZA unterstützt seit 1997 den Aufbau kommunaler Wasserversorgung in NW-BiH, seit 2002 mit einem die Entitätsgrenzen übergreifenden Fluss-Einzugsgebiet Ansatz, der zur Konfliktlösung beitrug. 2005 wurde das Projekt ab-geschlossen und an die RS-Behörden übergeben. Auf Gemeindeebene besteht jedoch weiterhin Entwicklungsbedarf beim Aufbau von institutionellen Kapazitäten im Umwelt-/Wasserbereich. Seit Januar 2007 läuft das neue Gouvernanz-Wasserprojekt, in dessen Rahmen, unter Einbezug der Zivilgesellschaft, bisher in 9 Kerngemeinden strategische Pläne für den Wasser- und Umweltsektor erarbeitet sowie 48 Infrastruktur- und Kapazitätsaufbau-projekte realisiert wurden.

The NGO Fund aims at improving the life of children, young and elderly people. Therefore, the Fund offers small grants to NGOs working with these target groups. Thus, for example children and young people with special needs are supported, while elderly people profit from activities in areas such as culture, education or health.

Acquisition of equipment for radio-therapy within the University Clinical Centre Maribor

01.01.2010 - 31.12.2015

The project aims at increasing the capacity and enhancing the access to oncological therapy through the realisation of a Department of Radiotherapy at University Medical Centre Maribor. The project will increase the share of radiotherapy treatment of cancer, reduce waiting periods for radiotherapy and improve the treatment comfort of patients from the north-eastern part of Slovenia with shorter transport and near to home care. Switzerland will contribute to the financing of the two linear accelerators.
