Visa information

If you are a Bangladeshi passport holder (not living abroad) and wish to travel to Switzerland you will need an entry visa. All the information regarding visa procedure, requirements and visa application forms you will find here.

Introduction of the Visa Information System (VIS)

On 11 October 2011 the Schengen member states introduced the Visa Information System (VIS). The VIS will also be used to store the biometric data (10 fingerprins and the facial image) of the visa applicants. The diplomatic representations of the Schengen member states in Bangladesh will be connected to the VIS system on 02 November 2015.

Online Visa Application

The Embassy of Switzerland in Dhaka is pleased to inform that starting from 3rd August 2015, it will be possible to register your visa application for a short-term Schengen visa (type A and C, for a stay of up to 90 days) online, by using the following link: www.swiss-visa.ch
