On June 16, US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Geneva, Switzerland. We are looking forward to hosting this historic summit and welcoming media from all over the world by offering a wide range of media facilities and access to our Host Broadcast coverage.

Media accreditation

Media representatives wishing to access media facilities in Geneva must be accredited. Registration for accreditation is now closed.

There will be two media centers, one at CICG, one by the lake near the summit venue.

At the CICG media center, you will find fully equipped workspaces with the pool signal for radio or TV, in a quiet and professional setting, easily accessible.

At the lake media center, we are providing a limited amount of radio and TV workspaces and TV stand-up positions overlooking the Summit venue or city and lake, as well as SNG parking. Applications for stand-up positions are now closed.

The Host Broadcast signal for radio or TV is available at the workspaces in both media centers. You must have a reserved workspace in order to get access to the pool feed on site. For access to the host broadcast signal for TV or radio, you must provide your own cable to run to the D/As (BNC for TV/ Jack for Radio). Maximum cable length needed – 50 meters. There will be large monitors throughout the media centers to watch the event.

Electricity and Wi-Fi are available at the workspaces in the media centers. Plug type J is standard in Switzerland, plug type C also works. No adapters will be available in the media centers.

Please note that the summit venue itself is not accessible.

Masks are mandatory in all media centers at all times, including on stand-up positions, except for talent when doing on-air broadcast.
