On the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, 26 June, KOSMOS and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) will present the film 'Syria's Disappeared: The Case Against Assad'. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring individuals directly affected by torture and other stakeholders.

European Day against Human Trafficking 2017

Engagement for peace and security, and promoting human rights are just two of Switzerland's priorities at the 72nd UN General Assembly.
This year the FDFA will once again be organising the International Career Day. On 21 April 2017 various international organisations will present their activities and the career opportunities they provide at the Kulturcasino in Bern. The day is aimed at new graduates and young academics with work experience who are considering a career in an international organisation.

President of the Swiss Confederation Johann N. Schneider-Ammann and Federal Councillor Didier Burkhalter attend the UN General Assembly in New York. Before that event, Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga had represented Switzerland at the Summit for Refugees and Migrants.
