Notification by residents’ register offices
The Swiss Abroad Act (SAA) came into force on 1 November 2015. Under Articles 12 and 13 of the SAA, residents’ register offices are required to notify the FDFA whenever a Swiss citizen relocates abroad or returns to the commune.
