Voting rights: electronic notification system

A new electronic interface was integrated into eVERA as part of the 2022 annual update. It enables voting rights notifications to be exchanged electronically (via sedex) between the electoral registers and the Register of the Swiss Abroad. The electronic interface replaces the current manual notification system.

The map shows all of Switzerland’s cantons. Those in red have already adopted the electronic interface.
